Thanks for this write-up, which was also posted on Chowhound. Am supposedly headed to Hunan Taste tonight, and this gives me a lot to go on. Will definitely post my review tomorrow–if I’ve recovered from what I’m sure will be a food coma–then.

Hey there,

I remember going through the same stresses. Target has some nice ones as well. You can also use a Pack and Play if you need to (most come with bassinet attachments, so you won’t hurt your back when they’re smaller). We ended up with an antique crib (it met all the current safety requirements; it was just smaller; it’s my grandmother’s), and now we’re using a Pack and Play until she’s big enough for a toddler bed. Not the most conventional path, but she is safe and happy.

I’m so excited for you! And know that you can call me anytime (especially at 4 am with latch issues).

Actually… I have seen a baby bike helmet. My in-laws run a bike shop. But regardless, because of neck strength and jostling issues, a baby shouldn’t be in a bike seat or even a trailer until at least 6 months (maybe a year depending on who you ask). If you want a baby bike helmet, though, I’m sure I could get you one.
